WRITING 2nd year ESO.

                                 A PHOTO DESCRIPTION.

Students of 2nd year ESO must improve their writing skills . The best way is writing a lot. This time they had to write a composition about a photo of them having fun with their friends and family. Everybody participated and we read three compositions during the English lesson.

                        BRITISH &AMERICAN  FESTIVITIES.

                                               2nd year ESO.

2nd year ESO students are reading the book British & American Festivities during this first term. Each student made a fantastic poster about one of the festivities included in the book.This is an opportunity to improve our reading skills and our cultural knowledge about the festivities of English native speaking countries.

All these posters are shown in the corridor of our school. Now our place is more cheerful  and culture is around us ... They are great ! Congratulations ! Everybody did a very good job !

PENFRIENDS- MAKING FRIENDS THROUGH LEARNING.

Students of 2nd and 3rd year ESO are in a project which aims at offering students the chance to improve their writing skills by maintaining a regular correspondence with their peers in another European country.

2nd and 3rd year students in Villanueva de Gállego are waiting for  letters from their penpals in Greece.

                                                 First Task : Introduction letter. 



When we receive handwritten penpal letters we'll write a letter telling about ourselves. It's much more fun to practice writing while writing to a peer than writing an essay for the teacher !
This may naturally encourage a student to put their best English skills on display. Having a penpal may also encourage a student to take a greater interest in cultural exchange.

1ST YEAR ESO A!!


 This group is going to start an exchange of information with other countries via TwinSpace, an Etwinning programme with other European countries!!

Etwinning project

What is this about?

1. First we have to introduce ourselves with a power point presentation.

2. Then we have to create a Logo for the project

3. We have to choose a tale or a legend in Aragon.

4, We have to translate it into English with the help of the teacher and dictionaries.

5. We are going to add some pictures / drawings to it.

6. We are going to edit and publish it as an Ebook in the Twinspace.

In the meantime we are going to chat with other European colleages!!

I hope you can take advantage of this programme and you learn a lot from other cultures!!
